Downtown Fairhope is renowned for its quaint shops of all kinds. Of note is the independent bookseller, Page and Pallet as well as the large number of of art galleries. On First Friday evenings the galleries and many of the shops serve wine and snacks.

Outlet Mall shopping is available nearby in Foley Alabama at Tanger Outlets.
Sportsman or not The Bass Pro Shop is a tourist destination that is fun for the whole family. A new restaurant venue is opening soon nearby the Bass Pro Shop that has food vendors selling their creations from converted shipping containers. This novel trend is an extension of the idea of parks with several food trucks.
There is a “Lifestyle Mall” a short drive from Fairhope at the Eastern Shore Center.
Sometimes you just need a discount department store with groceries so we have two Walmarts nearby. One in Fairhope and one in Daphne. The Fairhope Walmart is convenient to the cottage. Walmart can sometimes have the best quality, selection and price for groceries and wine also.
