We are not the type to hang out in bars so we may not be the best resource for this section. We have visited a few fun and or special places for an adult beverage so here is our list:

For fresh local craft brewed beer, The Fairhope Brewery. They cannot sell food (stupid law) but you can bring your own or have food (pizza) delivered. Sometimes there is a food truck outside so you can go out the door buy food and bring it in.

We listed the Grand Hotel under places to go. They have great cocktails at high prices with wonderful sunset views.
If you like a grubby little Irish Pub. McSharry’s is your place. The food is surprisingly good.
The place we most often take out of town guest to for lunches and sunset drinks and food is the Sunset Pointe Grill. We have to confess a soft spot for views of yacht clubs, boats, fire pits, and sunsets.
